the table and the beautiful birthday card you had made
for me. And the finale of having every person in the restaurant
singing happy birthday to me all went to making it a birthday

Good Afternoon Poopdeck
Just a brief line to thank you for the most enjoyable
evening last Friday on my Birthday. The meal was fabulous,
the wine was good and the views of the harbour excellent.

would like to say a big Thank you for the fantastic evening
I spent in your restaurant. It was my 50th birthday, we
came to Brixham for a holiday, we did not really know
the area but checked on the web before we left for suitable
venues. When it came to my birthday evening I was a bit
worried to say I wanted to come to the Poopdeck - I love
fish, but among my party of 7, a few were not so sure.
All I can say is there was no need to worry, the setting
and facilities superb, the service second to none, many
personal touches ie, a special birthday card and cake
for my birthday (even though we booked at the last minute),
and last but not least the food........HEAVENLY!! Thank
you for making my birthday so special. If we are in the
area again, we will definitely come back and have already
recommended you to others who are going down this year.

"I have eaten at the Poopdeck many times, and every
visit the experience gets better and better, I have never
been a big fan of fish (except prawns & Lobster) but recently
have been advised to start eating the slippery stuff,
well a miracle has happened, I eat salmon nearly every
week & now I am addicted to Tony Butler’s mussels, no,
not the bodily type, the shell fish, I have never tasted
something quite as unbelievable as these little beauties,
it was amazing, I couldn’t get enough of the Mariniere
sauce, and as for his sea bream, this was out of site,
I have been converted by this mans talent, but I am still
not pushing the boat out too far, I don’t want to have
an over kill……"
"Please please try out this fantastic restaurant,
it’s so worth it, but you will have to book in order to
beat the locals. You need to have a comments book in the
restaurant and also on your web page, feedback is so important,
and it would be good for others to be able to read past
visitor views,(only the good ones)."
